Guangdong OudLink Import & Export Co., Ltd.(广东奥香联进出口有限公司) — Founded in 2008 in Maoming, Guangdong, OudLink is a vertically integrated agarwood (oud) house — cultivating Aquilaria sinensis on red-earth hills, hydro-distilling oud oil on-site, and exporting CITES-certified chips, oil, and grafted Kynam directly to wholesale buyers in the Middle East and high-end collectors across China. By owning every link from sapling to shipment, we eliminate the trader layers that typically sit between origin and customer.
From a thousand saplings to vertical integration
OudLink began with roughly a thousand Aquilaria sinensis saplings planted on the red-earth hills outside Maoming. Two decades on, the original cohort has matured, the founding team has scaled cultivation and distillation, and the company has shifted from selling raw wood to delivering finished, paperwork-complete shipments — chips graded by sinking density, oil distilled and aged on-site, كينام stock developed through a research partnership.
Why direct source matters
Most agarwood reaches buyers through three to four intermediaries — village collector, regional wholesaler, regional exporter, importer. Each layer adds margin and erodes provenance: by the time the lot reaches a perfumer in Paris or a fragrance house in Dubai, the paper trail no longer matches the wood. OudLink ships from origin under our own CITES permit, so what arrives is exactly what was harvested, with paperwork that customs officers can verify in one step.
The Maoming–Hainan–university triangle
Three sites underpin our supply: Maoming (HQ + primary cultivation + distillation), Hainan (auxiliary plantings, complementary terroir), and a research collaboration with South China Agricultural University focused on grafted Kynam. The university partnership lets us develop semi-controlled cultivation of varieties that traditionally only appeared through wild harvest — limited release, but reliable.
